In 1999 Jim Carrey portrayed his idol Andy Kaufman in the film MAN ON THE MOON. The behind-the-scenes footage of that shoot has been locked up and withheld for almost 20 years. Filmmaker Chris Smith, director of the great “American Movie”, teamed up with producer Spike Jonze and VICE to tell Jim’s story. And you can see the results starting November 17 on Netflix.
